Delightful Reiki using intentions and affirmations

I encourage my Reiki clients to express their intentions or affirmations before, during and after a session. Either out loud or internally. You might ask whats the difference.

Intention is a mental state that represents a commitment to carrying out an action, or actions, in the future. Whereas, an affirmation is a declaration that something is true, something you say to yourself to reprogram the mind, subconsciously.

An intention is finding and expression your intent on what you want out of the Reiki session in the present moment. I encourage my clients to listen to their hearts when forming an intention and affirmation. I'll coach them a little to keep it positive and concise. They might find their intention or affirmation morphing and changing during the session and that's perfectly fine. Using visuals in your minds eye will enhance the intention.

I like Affirmations and will start and end my day with one or two, and also when I am receiving energy-work by myself or with another light-worker.

Start by asking yourself what is my highest priority I feel I am able to workout.
