Tai Chi in the Park update

Updated: Mar 24, 2023

Well with good intentions I did plan to start March 19th, 2023. However, the weather did not co-operate and it was so cold I couldn't with good conscious hold a class where it might cause injury to tight muscles and tendons. Look to this blog for updates and notifications on Tai chi in the park classes.

Tai Chi in the Park is not affiliated with AMA. Aplomb Martial Arts.

I do want to give thanks to the one individual who braved the cold and came out anyway, you're special and I am sorry I missed the opportunity to visit with you. They did stay and meditate for awhile, which is beautiful and one of the reasons I am bringing this opportunity to you and your friends.

So, with all that being said and do make a note here that Rain days will be held in Harmon Park. The long range weather report shows a more than 60% chance of rain. Harmon Park has a large pavilion where we can meet. Locations of the parks are found on this website here: https://www.wolfordclinic.com/about-5 . Use you common sense if its below 40 degrees its most likely I will be practicing in my home. I am also appologizing to all you came early this month, as I forgot to mention the starting date.

Tai Chi in the Park will be held this Sunday March 26th. at 9AM. Bennet Park or Harmon Park depending on the weather. Let me know if you would like a different location and time. Also, does your company hold special events, call Tom for your next corporate meeting or event. Many surprises will be revealed if you do.

Join us on this journey to Tai Chi as it holds many benefits you feel and experience in every part of your day and night. Everyone is invited. The benefits I felt were at the beginning surprising. I felt I was a patient, well ballance, center and focused individual. I quickly found that I was in need of more than I thought I was. I had become complaciant and lazy before I started Tai Chi. One day while just walking around Corinth Square shopping center in Prairie Village. A person who someday I want to hug pulled me into the Kempo dojo and ask me if I wanted to try a free trial of Tai Chi. I said yes and the day I arrived for my free group class I found that I was in the right place at the right time. Why? Well, Ms. E my sensai started the class with respect as we were bowed into the dojo and immediated started with a five to seven minute stading meditation. Well as a 20 year plus person who meditates I was all in, sold, give me the paper to sign up and lets go! Five years later, I am approaching retirement and I wanted to find a job would fit in, as so it is people. I am a certified Tai Chi instructor with more to learn and a lot to give you a new purpose and reason to get up and take care you YourSelf, mind body and spirit.
